Your examples need to be two digitally published products and be two different styles - need more detail in your analysis. Please refer to the brief as it has a list in what you must cover; Pick two digitally published products which have different types and styles of writing, and each of which uses images, graphics and interactive / multi-media elements. These might be journalistic, web content, games content, or advertising copy. Write a detailed textual analysis of each of them, and a summary comparison. Use the following structure:
• What type of written word is the product? Write a synopsis • Which style / mode of address is used- for example, formal, informal, authoritative, humorous, personal / 1st /2nd /3rd person? Give a range of examples from the writing • What is the font style and type? E.g. modern, traditional, serif / sans serif, bold, italic, house style, colour, drop caps, themes, highlighted, 3D.. • How is the page laid out in terms of orientation, columns, use of features such as captions, pull quotes, page numbering. • Where are images, graphics multimedia and interactive elements placed and incorporated in the product? Analyse their connotation, shot type, design elements and purpose • Write a summary comparing the writing style, images and layout elements in the two products
