Evaluation

When planning this product, i started off with different ideas which led to me making plenty magazine covers but finally i came to my final idea. I wanted to have the best quality but not overload the front cover with words and images therefore i stuck to one image and my template which eventually came to place and was uploaded. It was difficult to find models who were free as everyone surrounding me in my age group either has plenty coursework that needed to be done or exams to revise for. This made it hard for me but i eventually found the time to complete my work.

Taking my pictures was the easiest part of the production as there was already natural lighting as well as the artificial one. This made my pictures bright for everyone to see clearly. The resolution for this image wasn't as clear as it could have been which made the image look blurry. i realised that maybe instead of using my iPhone camera, i should have used a DSLR camera to get good quality. As i had taken a variety of shots, i had a lot of images to choose from so as i was editing, i was able to play around with the images to see which best suited the background.

To complete my magazine cover i looked at other magazine covers which could help me with my idea as i was confused in the beginning and didn't know where to start.

The strengths of this unit was to take the picture within the skate park as i already had positions in my head which i knew would be different to other models as i didn't want to look like a duplicate of any other magazine that already existed. My weaknesses were finding models and having them all come and meet me in one location without having problems.

The camera support was a tripod as it stayed still and i was able to have a timer which allowed me to have enough time to set my camera in a suitable position and pose for the camera. I kept my background as i believed it was different and suitable for the genre i chose for my photography.
